Not a bass boat but.........

Featured Replies

Its not a bass boat but made the wife happy also. 74 imperial openbow. 60hp Johnson. All new carpet and vinyl. Boat looks brand new. Got it for $700 I think I got a good deal I can still fish off it (I fish for fun no tounys) plus can take the boys and wife out tubing.

Was wondering if anyone made any mods for fishing on simlar boats.

How to mount tm to fiberglass?

Anyone evermade a removeable deck to cover the openbow for fishing?

or any other ideas.

If it gets you out there, its a good deal.

Trihull's are a bit heavy, but they are very stable.

If you build a deck up front, use lightweight materials where you can.

If you get too heavy up front, that bow makes a good water scoop.

If there isnt enough hull to mount the trolling motor, fabricate an aluminum bracket to hold the TM.

Looks like a bass boat to me ;)

Loose the bow rails, add a trolling motor, and make the U seating in the bow a full deck with pedestal base.  Then, make a cushion to go on top of that, and you have a casting deck while fishing, and a lounging deck while tubing (may need to leave the bow rails for legality in that case).  Trolling motor is a must though......

Your boat is VERY similar to mine. See my reply to "Anyone who can appreciate a good ole project" posted earlier today.     Happy fishing

Looks like a fishing boat to me.  The family will enjoy.

Great deal man!

I probably would have grabbed it too, plus, I live in fl, so I could get some fishing done offshore! ;D
