Looking to buy a 1997 ranger cherokee, jut wondering if anybody has had or have any experience with them. The one i am looking at has a 115 johnson on it. Thank you all!

My friend has one. Nice boats. He had to fix a few minor issues with the motor but that is to be expected in an older boat.

 

My fishing partner has one. Super nice boat. He bought his new and still has it. Never had any problems at all with the boat. If the money was right I wouldn't have any issues buying one

The hulls were made by Crestliner when Genmar owned both companies and another hull mfg who is out of business when they were not. Ranger put in the interior.

I know i should expect to do some maintnance on the motor but other than that it seems like a pretty sweet little rig for what i need.

Awesome! Need a little interior work but nothing serious. Price seems like a good deal considering i should only have to put a few hours and maybe 50-100 into it.
