  1. I know i should expect to do some maintnance on the motor but other than that it seems like a pretty sweet little rig for what i need. Awesome! Need a little interior work but nothing serious. Price seems like a good deal considering i should only have to put a few hours and maybe 50-100 into it.
  2. Looking to buy a 1997 ranger cherokee, jut wondering if anybody has had or have any experience with them. The one i am looking at has a 115 johnson on it. Thank you all!
  3. ive tried, do you know where i can find the full show. All i've found is little previews. Thank you.
  4. I have a bass tournament on Mosquito lake in Ohio in a couple weeks and was wondering what I should try. I've heard a senko and jigs should be good but any more help would be appreciated. Also what parts of the lake and techniques would you guys recommend I try out, i've never fished it before. Thank you.
  5. I have a bass tournament on Lake Erie in late April. Any idea on what I should use? Thanks in advance.
  6. Thanks for the input, from what I'm hearing I may just end up selling it.
  7. The bearings won't help at all? I've realized that the quality is not up to my other reels but thought the bearings may help.
  8. Thanks for the input but I was really looking to put new spoil bearings in. Just wanted to know what brand to go with if anybody has changed them on a lexa 100 before.
  9. Anybody know which bearings I should use in my Daiwa lexa 100h. They are fine just looking for better performance. Also what size would I need? Thanks.
  10. I would go with 133 Fishing O M N, I have 2 and an envy. One of the O M N is a 6'10" medium fast action, its a great rod. I haven't had to go through their customer service yet but I have heard it is good. But any of the rods on your list are nice.
  11. If your going to be typing a leader on anyways I would just do a flouro leader. But I have before used a lower lb test mono as a leader and it worked well.
  12. I would take a look at Froggy Toggs. But as others have said you get what you pay for. If you want to spend a bit more money try orvis and if you want the best go with Simms. Here's a pair of frogg Toggs for a decent price, I used this pair for a season steelhead fishing before they sprung a leak. But with a float tube they won't take the abuse like they do while steelheading. https://www.waderusa.com/frogg-toggs-hellbender-stockingfoot-chest-waders.html?fee=1&fep=86&gclid=CJGF8onqkNECFVeewAodZxEBOw
  13. I also would never think of going out on a Great Lake with questionable conditions. No fish is worth dyin for. The plan was never to go out on Erie too much so with reading some other comments I think I'll be looking at mainly bass boats. Thanks for the help!
  14. I was thinking about it and it would probably be best if I stayed of of Erie for the most part. There are plenty of other lakes to fish within an hour or two of Cleveland. Thanks for the help!
  15. The price is hard to beat, and thy don't seem to be bad boats but if I were to need the warranty I've heard about many issues with all tracker marine group boats. I know I would need to watch weather on day I would go out but would an aluminum mod v be capable to go on Erie?
  16. I took a look at trackers but the reviews made me turn away. How have your experiences been.
  17. Thanks, I'll take another look for used glass boats around me! I don't own a boat now but do go out on Erie a few times a year either with a rental boat or on a friends boat.
  18. I mainly fish for bass and would like a glass boat but to get one in my budget I would have to look at early 2000s boats which I don't really want to do. I guess if I found the right deal, an older glass boat would be good. And for the modv vs deep v l, I was hoping for some input from other bass recource users.
  19. I am looking into getting a new boat. I'm thinking between 18-20 feet. I mainly fish inland lakes and larger rivers but may go out onto Lake Erie once in a while. My budget is around 20k, any recommendations. Ive been looking into the ranger rt188, Lund 1750 rebel xs, and used glass boats.
