Zodias Casting 7'2 Medium Moderate Fast 10-20lb 1/4-3/4oz

Question for everyone, but especially for people who have used these two rods. I'm looking to use it for blade baits such as 1/2-3/4oz Heddon sonars, BPS Lazer blade,Binsky,Silver Buddy,Wordens Showdown and  similar blades etc. I currently use a Dobyns Champion 702c and a Dobyns Champion Extreme 742c for throwing blades in water from 12-40 feet deep, both rods are rated to 3/16-5/8oz and they handle the 1/2oz-3/4oz blades pretty well, with the 742 being better the deeper I go , I am using 7:1 or 8:1 scorpion with 15lb 832 braid and a 12lb copolymer leader. My question for those who have experience with these two rods or just one of them. Does the Expride ML+ have enough backbone for what I am looking to do, I am looking for the soft tip to keep the trebles in but I also want decent backbone to set the hook and keep the fish on. I assume the Zodias fits the build, but from what I hear the Expride is worth the extra money for the sensitivity, but that ML rating has me concerned the rod may be too weak. Any input or advice is appreciated.

At those depths with baits to 3/4 oz. I would think the Zodias would be preferable. I spin fish with them and they are very sensitive.
