On my last trip it worked fine.  Last week when I went it never acquired my position.  It just stayed on Lake Ray Roberts even though that wasn't where I was.

When I traveled on the lake it wouldn't trace my trail or register a speed reading.  It just flashed 0.00 mph.  Also the time was flashing and the time was incorrect.

Any ideals on what was going on and how to fix it?

You sure you hit "exit" ? One shows current position and other shows where you were at previous. If you didn't push exit you will see previous area that you are not at.

Yes, I pushed exit.  Ray Roberts wasn't where I was previously.

I'm sure it was but I didn't check.  I never take it out.

B/C of the time being wrong I think its something that needs to be reset.  Maybe my partner or I hit a button that messed something up.

If your unit is a Lowrance...

If you have tried the exit key and it actually hasn't aquired anything, there are a few things which you can do.

First off be sure you have wpts saved to an sd card which is not one of your Hot Spots or Nav. cards.

Go into the menu and if WAAS is required uncheck it. If you are where it can't get WAAS it won't acquire. If you can get WAAS it will get it whether it is checked or not.

If you still aren't acquiring then get your manual and do a soft reset. That should correct it if it is a software problem.

If that doesn't work then do a hard reset. A hard reset will change everything back to factory settings and delete all wpts, icons, trails and routes so back them up.

If none of them work then call Lowrance at 1-800-324-1356.

If you have a Bird.  I can't help you.

I will give all that a shot.  Thanks, I bet one of those things will get it.
