Don't know if this will work, as soon as I can get on the river, I am going to give Mike's new jigs a try rigged with tube trailer.  Big, fat and lots of bright red flakes.

That's a rig that makes sense to me, but has never produced a single fish, no idea why.

The tidal Potomac LM have a reputation for eating anything, so we shall see if does the trick, or I share your experience.
