Does anyone know what the size of the lews xfi it’s fj spinning reel is?

Looks like a 200-300 size reel. Good size for most applications.

The OP never did respond to this older thread.

My lowest cost combo is an older $17 Berkley Lightning on sale with a $30 (closeout price) Daiwa Procaster 100HN.

Today I would be seriously looking at a Daiwa Aird (casting and spinning) and a Daiwa Fuego CT and a Daiwa Revros LT.  Or for a little more the Daiwa Regal LT.  I admit to being slightly bias towards Daiwa.

I've really enjoyed my Okuma baitcast reels.  No experience with their spinning reels, but I wouldn't be afraid to get an Avenger LE spinning reel.

First you need to know something about what you are buying then look for good low price deals.

Tackle Warehouse has clearance sakes on rods and reels, usually models being replaced with newer. TW also has rod & reel combo listed plus sales seasonally. For example 13 Fishing was recently purchased by Rapala Corp and TW is clearing original models. There are other online companies like TW, ALF for example.

The BR forums has a Flea Market check that out some excellent buys available.
