NRX 872S or COnquest 902S

Featured Replies

Pulling the trigger on one of these.  What would you guys recommend? I do have an 872 and love it. I am looking for another rod that can be very versatile. I will be fishing everything from Shaky heads for bass to shiver minnows and rippen raps for walleye.  Thank you in advance for any input you can give!!

I have a NRX 822S and a Conquest 902S. I like the reel seat on the Conquest more then the NRX. The Conquest also feels like a more substantial rod vs. the NRX. I always feel like I need to be more careful when handling NRX rods then Conquest rods. Even more so in the casting rods in what I feel like I am asking them to do.

I don't think you could go wrong with either really. Going NRX could save you a decent amount of money, about $140 looking at the TW prices. A Conquest with a Stella is pretty nice though.
