transom saver questions - yes I did a search first...

All kidding aside about the search, I can't seem to find what I am looking for. I have a 14ft jon with a 25hp johnson. I am looking for a transom saver, the problem I am having is there are not parts of the trailer at the end to hook it to. Does anyone know of a decent transom saver that extends several feet to were there is actually a support brace on the trailer?

My dad made a transom saver out of a 2x6. He cut the end that fits against the trailer to fit into the bracket that hold the last roller and cut a V into the the end that hold the motor and then we use a bungee cord to wrap from the trailer around the motor and then back to the trailer. It is a really easy thing to do and works just like a regular transom saver and costs less especially if you already have the wood.

My transom saver attaches right below the last roller on the trailer.  Have no idea on the manufacturer as it was on the trailer when I purchased it.
