Old Crankbait Patterns

Featured Replies

Back in the old days, almost every major crankbait maker had a version of a "Coachdog" and a "Red Head".  You just don't see them being offered anymore.  I don't know why they shouldn't still be effective.  Maybe if a guy was to paint up his own and "show 'em something different", he may get some surprising results.

I made a bladed jig for a guy that was a throwback color type color with a red blade, red head, white skirt. Basically the same as the Red Head color. According to the pictures he's sent me, it still works.
