I'm trying to find out exactly what is Core Protect? My Sahara doesn't have this feature, but the next reel up in Shimanos line, the Nasci does have this feature. What exactly is sealed with this, and is it really that important for freshwater bass fishing?

If you’re a typical casual user that buys a reel and uses it with little or no care until it stops working things like Shimano’s core protect or Daiwa mag seal might have significant value. Outside of that it’s more like, “nice, so what else ya got?”
