I know the title is somewhat misleading ?

I’m looking for a flipping rod for the wife that is as light(in actual weight) as possible but still get the job done. Too heavy of a rod and it tires her out quick. Prefer 7’-6”. Going to put a 100 series Shimano on it with 50# braid to keep the overall weight down. Mainly going to be fishing sparser stuff like pad, reeds and grass with less than 1 oz. weights. Would like to keep the rod somewhere between $100-150. 
I am in Florida so there’s always a chance at a good one. Fishing out of a boat too.

Help a brother out. 

At $ 149.99 the Irod flipping rod would be a good choice, very light, well built, looks good, and customer service is next to none..I have 3 of them, and have another on back order at TW.

Hammer, just looked at their website, I like what they offer. 

Tatula 761HFB 4.3oz and looks pretty sharp. Tatula rods cover pretty much everything in that price range and they're stupid light for the price.
