The original Whopper Plopper.

Any of you guys used this top water lure? I know TW has it on their site, it's 5". But one one I'm looking at is 7" and over 2 oz.

I'm in SoCal, just wondering if this would be something different for the bass out here. Wish we had like and musky though....?

It's my primary whopper because I have had it for more than 20 years.  It can be a good alternative because the tail is metal instead of plastic.

The original is C C Roberts MudPuppy lure, I believe they are still being made, check Amazon.

Black Dog wooden Lunker Plunker still works good in our SoCal lakes.

I picked up a fat b*****d for musky last fall. Havent caught anything on it yet but i liked the noise and color options. Paint showed a bit of wear where hooks beat it up, but its a wood bait so im not too surprised.
