I just bought a new Humminbird 565 for my '04 G3 HP200.  I was reading about how important it is to install it correctly to make sure that it works well at higher speeds (40 - 55 mph).  I have a plate on the transom to mount it on, but I was wondering if anyone had any pointers on installing it to make it work well.

No I don't. I assumed you just sent general installation instructions. But if it helps I have a Carolina Skiff J16 with a 30hp Tohatsu 4 Stroke.

nojerseydevil, I don't have any "secret" installation method for your set up. I would advise that for a console unit, that you trade in the supplied skimmer transducer for a trolling motor/ shoot thru style and install it in the bilge. Thanks for asking
