So I tried the Wooly Bug out with the Tokyo Rig (if you don’t know the Tokyo Rig, all you need to know is it involves Texas rigging the bait). The Wooly Bug seemed to not want to stay weedless in the hook tip. I was using a 3/0 hook. Is it the bait, or something I’m doing?

    Must be something you're doing. I use a 4/0 EWG hook and they stay up fine.

    Maybe that is it. I usually use a 3/0 with 4/14 stick baits (which is the length of the Wooly Bug), but maybe it’s different with creature baits.
