Hi guys. I just got a Lowrance Hook Reveal Tripleshot fish finder which comes with the long transducer.  What is the best place to mount it?  I don't think I want to mount it on the front trolling motor.  I sometimes have a gas motor in the back too.  See the attached photo. I think this is where I want to mount it, unless you think it would be better to mount just to the right side of that livewell drain that you can see in the photo.  Thanks for any input. 

I'd get one of those stern-saver blocks and mount the transducer to that. Block goes on with epoxy glue, and that way you're not drilling into the hull itself.
