Moving from Nrx 893 to Conquest 4 power

Featured Replies

What are your guys opinions on the differences? I'd be moving from an 893 that'd fantastic but underpowered in my heavy grass lakes. I typically like the length of the longer rods like the 904 but wonder if they as versatile as the 844. Is the 904 much better at single hook baits than it's shorter cousin, more sensitive feeling?

Uses (braid to leader) all around heavy cover, grass

Worms 5 & 6 inch weightless senkos, speed worms with 1/8 weight, light Texas rigs

Jigs/swim jigs/chatterbaits  (5/16-1/2oz)

Following because I'm in the same boat as my 853c NRX is way underpowered IMO for even a 3/8 oz jig plus trailer.

I was contemplating grabbing an 873CRR but have my doubts it will be enough rod for heavier jigs in medium to heavy cover.
