Rod for land based shark fishing?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have a recommendation for a land based shark rod that will work with a Penn Senator 12/0? This is my first time using a setup this large and I want to make sure I get it right

or go the budget route and go to a pawn shop and see if they have a old yellow wrapped 12ft heavy/extra heavy ugly stick bigwater.   Not the new version with red thread wraps.

I use PCH line of rod, they are cheapest you can find for this job. I have three of them foe my three reels including 14/0(I use 150 to 200 for it).
