Just got a new triton bass boat. It came with a helix 7 g3n mega si and hook 7 at the console, a cheap helix 7 at the bow and a hook 5. I want to put my Garmin echomap plus 93sv units at the console, one for mapping and one for side scan or down view. at the bow I want either a helix 12 or echomap 12". I like the idea of the 360 imaging more than panoptic, but I think its out of the question for a while. I will be upgrading my trolling motor, redoing the carpet, and a bunch of other stuff before I buy that. Im still looking for a single 12" unit up front though. Can I network all three if I go Garmin? I don't like the helix units I have on my boat right now at all.

No.  Unfortunately we live in a world where different brands of electronics do not talk to each other.  High end trolling motors are also being added to the network and only talk to one brand.   So if you want to connect everything you must choose one  Garmin,  Lowrance,   or Humminbird/Minnkota.

sorry. I meant network all three gamins. I don't think you can, but I know for a fact you can't cross netw0rk different brands. I am stuck between the brand of my front unit

I'm not a garmin guy so I won't try to answer that.  In terms of connectivity,  everything on my boat can talked to everything else.  Two Humminbird Solix,  360 imaging,  Minnkota Ultrex all networked and can share everything.  The most critical connection in my mind is being able to find a spot while at the console,  mark it,  and then be able to see it when you move up front to fish it.  All the other connectivity is VERY nice but I could live without it.

Yes your Garmin units can all be networked together assuming they have the Ethernet ports. You will need a network hub. The GMS 10 Network hub and cables should be all you need but there is a member on Bassresource that was making his own hubs for significantly less than what Garmin charges
