Has anyone tried the new Daiwa Tatula SV TW reel? Just ordered one from Bass Pro with gift cards.  None in stock to go out and check out in person. 

Yep, lot of discussion the last few months. A forum search will bring up a lot of opinions.

 

Short version: I like it. 

 

The older model feels more solid, but the 100 size is much nicer to fish with. Be forewarned a bunch of the 100 platforms are coming undergreased. If it doesn't feel butter smooth it just needs some grease.

This. I’ve been fishing with the new one for several months now. The older model feels more high end but the new one is much nicer to cast all day. Performance wise I can’t tell a difference  

Like it a lot
