Soda and bleeding fish

Featured Replies

  • Super User

Well I've never tried to pour soda on a bleeding fish as I don't really drink soda in my "old" age. But what about beer or Captain Morgans? Does that increase the fish's chance of biting immediately after you release them?

We used alcohol to immediately kill fish we were going to eat when cruising the Bahamas and Keys.

No alcohol unless you want instant death for the fish.
