I'm looking for a livewell timer. What are some of the better after market timers. How easy is it to install the timer. I will need one that has auto (timed) and straight on because my livewell filler is also my recirculate.

All you need extra is a three way switch to select manal, off, and automatic.

Just installed two of these on my boat... they work great and have a pretty high variance in off time.  I believe they run the pump for 30 seconds with a variable off time of 5sec-5min.  No need for a switch, you control the whole thing from there.  It states it has a continuous mode for filling up, which I think I am too dumb to figure out evidently, but I still fill mine fine with the 30sec on and 5 sec off.   Very easy installation and fairly cheap.

My son is pretty good at that. When I tell him to turn the livewell on he does, and when I tell him to turn it off he does.
