Questions about a reel

Featured Replies

Hey y'all, I recently got a Daiwa Tatula 100H 6.3 and was wondering what are some bearings you guys recommend for corrosion resistance? (ceramic or stainless)

I believe most stock bearings are stainless steel already.

You could order some of daiwa's corrosion resistant bearings for the coastal models to put into your reel.

I would not recommend full ceramic bearings. They are super loud and will sounds like your reel is about to break.

Unless youre fishing it in the salt it should be good to go. If you want to gain a small amount of casting distance, flush them and add 1 drop of a quality bearing oil.
