  1. thank you for the help
  2. Hey y'all, I recently got a Daiwa Tatula 100H 6.3 and was wondering what are some bearings you guys recommend for corrosion resistance? (ceramic or stainless)
  3. It's almost at max tightness and still very little drag
  4. Hey guys, so I have a Lew's Mach 1 speed spool and it's been working fine in fresh and salt but all of a sudden recently the drag started slipping on me. I was catching some mackerel for bait with a sabiki and it could barely handle 3 medium sized ones but could handle them before. Anyone know why? Everything is oiled and cleaned. Also, it slips whether it has mono or braid and yes I have E-Tape on the spool to prevent line slippage. So is it the drag, reel, line, or me?
  5. Not even that hard, I would do a sharp spin and it'll make a sound. But thanks guys, I'll look into more salt water reels with sealed bearings.

  7. So I need help with some of my bait casting reels (Lews Mach 1 speed spool, Abu Garcia blackmax and silvermax) almost all of them have this strange noise that happens if I reel a bit hard usually without a lure tied on. It’s almost like a gears rubbing together noise and I tried some troubleshooting myself and I thought it was my pinion gear and that it needed some oiling. After some oiling it didn’t really do anything and started happening to some other reels too. Is this because of using my baitcasting reels in the salt or some other issue? I just got a Tatula 100H and don’t want to ruin it by using it in the salt so please try and help. P.S. I wash and wipe down every reel.
