Looking at getting a new spinning reel but not trying to break the bank too much. Did have a penn fierce but looking for something a little bigger for snook and tarpon. Any suggestions would be awesome, thanks. 

I don't know how much break the bank is, but the Daiwa BG and Fin-Nor Lethal are both in the $100 range and highly rated. 

Daiwa BG 4500 on a Star Stellar 8' heavy. That's what I use.

The Penn Battle used to be an awesome reel for around $100.  I have not fished one in years but it can haul in some big fish. 

More info on price range and what you have would be helpful.
