    I was in your exact same boat a couple months ago and ended up getting a dobyns champion 736, couldn’t be happier with it. Super balanced, light, and way more them enough power to fish frogs in the thickest stuff. One really nice thing about the dobyns is that while it has a fast tip and a bunch of power, the rod still loads up pretty well when you are fighting a fish which helps keep them pinned.
