Did I get duped?

Featured Replies

Bought a used “93sv UHD with transducer” yesterday and got everything installed and I notice the display unit says “EchoMAP Plus 93sv” on the back and also in the system info. Shouldn’t it have “UHD” somewhere in the info and on the back? Did I buy a regular EchoMAP plus with a UHD transducer? Everything was in the box and most of it hadn’t even been opened and I didn’t even think to check.. why would I, right?.... anyways.. did I get duped or is this right?

Turn the unit on, go into the transducer selection and see if there’s an option for UHD transducer.

This.  Mine actually says "UHD" on the overlay too.

Yeah it shows the UHD transducer being used. I didn’t know if the UHD was just the transducer and it still comes with an EchoMAP plus or what.. does your guys say EchoMAP plus on the back?

I have both the 93sv and the 93sv UHD. The real 93sv UHD does say UHD on the back. The normal 93sv will read the GT54UHD transducer but does not say it on the back.

Need some photos?

Yeah, the real UHD unit does say UHD on it, I have the 93sv which I bought brand new this year. It sounds like you got a Plus with an upgraded transducer, maybe not a bad buy depending on what you paid but the seller still should have been honest.

It's kind of odd the software says UHD on the screen though.
