Got a hds live hooked to ultrex transducer and it doesnt do it often but sometimes the depth will flash then go back to reading in a minute or so. its not when you get close to the bottom but when in deeper water. could it be a loose connection somewhere or what? thanks

Do you have the correct ducer selected on your unit?

I had problems with mine getting disconnected.  There's not a lot of threads on the connector.  Just a few turns and it would come loose.  I never had it go in and out like you're describing so you may have a different issue.   

 

Like most problems in life I was able to fix it with a little duct tape.
