Alberto knot mystery failures- solved?

I think what you call the "lazy Alberto" is actually an Albright, isn't it?  This knot, the shin, is similar but taking the line through a loop in the braid makes it a different knot, and should make it less likely to unravel.

 

 

 

From several animated knot sights, the difference is that an Albright is started from the top, kind of like an SD Jam, then wrapped down, which wraps both the main line ends (2) and braid line, while the “Lazy Alberto/Shin) is started from the bottom like a normal Alberto and wrapped up, only wrapping the two loop-forming main lines.

Funny how different people react differently to different knots.  The Shin looks like a good knot, should stay tight, but while some find it easy to tie, I just cannot seem to get it, and cannot control the loop while trying to wrap the leader loop.  I find the Alberto much easier to tie.  

I know EXACTLY how you feel. For the life of me, I cannot tie the simple Palomar knot! I fully realize it’s super simple, but I just have a mental block. The Alberto or Shin knots are easier. Go figure!
