gravel road

Featured Replies

I'm going to be moving in about 2 weeks or so to a house that my girlfriend and I are renting.  Good news is the rent is really cheap and its out in the country.  Bad news is that its on a gravel road.  I have a 20' G3 that  is about 5 years old and in good shape.  Is there anything I can do (other than drive slowly, obviously) that can help protect it? It's only about a half of a mile.  Thanks.

worst case, put those little mud/gravel flaps on the back of you truck and trailer.  You'll know in a couple days of listening while driving in the truck, whether or not you need to do this.  Either you'll hear the pings and knocks of gravel on sheet metal or you won't.

in the grand scheme of things, a 1/2 mile of slow driving won't cost you much time at all.
