Does anyone know if you can put a boat in summersville lake in the winter? I have never fished it but I am really wanting to. I know they draw the lake way down in the winter. Went over the dam yesterday and the boat access was closed at the campground. I know the marina is closed till may I think. Just looking for information. Any tips are much appreciated thanks

According to the park ranger website The winter boat access is provided at Dam site picnic area and Salmon run. I've never been there but hope this helps.
