Looking for some feedback on these. I'm looking for a new jerk bait/popper rod and I see they have a 6ft10 medium moderate fast that would be good I'd think. How are these rods? Anybody use this specific model?

I've never used a Powell Diesel cranking rod, but they are on sale at Tackle Warehouse. Sounds like it would be about what you're looking for action wise. It won't have any warranty, but for $62.99 you can't ask for much. I'd say if it you get a few seasons out of it and you catch some fish with it then you got your money worth out of it.

In my experience the Diesel rods provide a lot of bang for the buck, and at current sale pricing you really can't go wrong. I kind of regret selling my Diesels

Maybe you're taller and a 6'10" rod might work for you.  Me - I'm 5'7" and for working Pop-r's dn Spooks, Sammy's , etc. and think that a 6'10" rod is too long.  I end up slapping the water when I do that downward twitch with the rod.   I have a couple of  top water rods that I haven't made my mind up on yet.   One - a 6'6" All Star Zell Rowland Topwater Special and the other an older Mitchell Fulcrum 6' medium Action rod.    I like the tip of the All Star and the length of the old Mitchell.

It is a dilemma.  If you can deal with the longer rod, go for it.

I'm 6'3 so I can manage!

I have that exact model rod, 6104 CB, rated 1/4-3/4 oz. Man, what a sweet and tough composite rod for treble hook lures. I got it about 3 years ago, also on the TW year-end sale. I am especially fond of its parabolic moderate fast action. I have other much more expensive rods, the Endurance series, also some glass rods from other brands, but there's nothing quite like it. It's got a lot of power as well. In the past 3 years, I used it to pull up a lot of feisty smallies, and a heavy wooden yard chair. I just can't break it. 

The only shortcoming is that it doesn't launch 1/4 oz lures very well, I feel that 1/2 oz jerkbait/crankbite/topwater is its sweet spot.

Diesel rods are excellent rods for the money.
