Received a digital scale for Christmas and I took the time to play with it yesterday.  Weighed various treble hooks, split rings and jerkbaits.  Weights I expected to be quite close weren't.  Same jerkbaits with different paint schemes varied considerably, ghost patterns lighter than patterns with full coverage paint.  Seems I'll be more cognizant of which baits I'll expect to suspend earlier and later in the season versus those that I'll expect to suspend better during mid summer... also needing to weigh each treble and split ring to adjust baits.  This appreciated gift has become a double edged sword.

I've found the same after I purchased a digital scale a couple months ago...I'm just going to be a bit more laid-back about it myself - if it's close, it's good enough.

Been searching Amazon for one, many options. Could you post the brand? I am curious if it is one of the ones I’ve looked at.

Pollux Gem 20... have seen this scale online labeled under several names...  20 gram weight limit.
