Mend-it as a glue

I've never used Mend-it before... can it be used to glue plastic trailers onto a jig hook shank?

No, Mend it is not an adhesive.  From what I understand, it breaks down the plastic to a state it was when it was being poured, so the two pieces meld together as they dry.

That is why it doesn't work on Zoom products.

Not just Z-Man - Strike King 3X plastic baits are also Elaztech.

Ive used it to close the worn out section where you want the hook to hold on Palmetto bugz when I had no option and it works, but not nearly as well as it does with standard plastics.  It will melt right through thinner pieces of elaztech, so be careful of that.

Mend-it is a Must Have on our trips south of the border.

Since TW doesn't do overnight shipping to the Sierra Marde Mountain range of Mexico,

we need to make every swimbait last as long as we can for the week we're there.

Mend-it helps us do that.

Every night our room looks like a bait repair shop.

Ripped, torn & tattered baits laying all over (next to the Margaritas)

all glued back up.

Let them dry over night and as long as they run right, we are golden.

@NHBull  FYI

yes, Zman.  I posted from my phone & it apparently autocorrected it to Zoom.

Thanks for catching it (pun intended)
