Berkley Blade Dancer

Featured Replies

Anyone ever use or have success with the Blade Dancer?  Had one in my box for about a year now.

Threw it for the first time yesterday.

I have one too, yet to try it. Did u catch anything, and if you did how were you retrieving it.

I bought this and did not like it. Has great action but it fails to catch anything.

I've had one for two seasons and haven't caught one fish with it. I've tried all the presentations they advertise and nothing.

My results were the same as you guys (although I didn't catch any fish yesterday).  The action in the water looked great.

Almost made me think of a chatterbait.  Not as intense of a vibration though, but it definately moved some water.

Eyes on the prize....the rewards from yesterday will be reaped in a few weeks. (Hopefully)

I am sure we can come up with a way to mount a winch to the boat

I would like to train my own army of beavers.  I believe that after a few drinks I will be able devise a plan from them to cut down trees and posisition in the most perfect areas.  I will then use the beavers to keep all others away from our spots.  They will stealthly swim in and break of people's lines.

I too have gotten really excited when seeing this lures motion but it has yet to produce a fish for me and i sold them on ebay. It goes into one of those lures categories

i catch with this lure all the time last year.I retrived, stop and let it flutter down, retrive, stop and let it flutter down(repeat till you get a bite). The Blade basically does all the work for you.

i find it to work best around a school of shads or baitfish.
