Houston area-what’s a good week to take vacation for spring bass?

I moved to Conroe (The Woodlands) in August 2019 but didn’t start fishing here until late April 2020. And to be frank, I really didn’t start fishing seriously for bass with new rigs, lures, etc. until June. So now with six new rigs, lures, tackle and a small inflatable boat, I’m looking to take a week’s vacation for what I hope is a great week of bass fishing. But I don’t know when to take it. March? April? February?

Let me know what you believe is likely the best time for a week’s vacation for spring bass.

We have been going to Lake Fork the last few years the middle of March. We have been able to find Bass both Pre Spawn and locked on beds during this time frame.

Thanks. That sounds good to me. In fact, it should probably be a bit warmer here at that time of year.
