  1. Sweet reels!! But the handles are on the Wrong side! Lol ? Reels look awesome!! I bet you were excited to see that package in the mail!
  2. We have been going to Lake Fork the last few years the middle of March. We have been able to find Bass both Pre Spawn and locked on beds during this time frame.
  3. An NRX 853c is a great jig rod 3/8-1/2oz. The sensitivity is top of the line but the price tag is also. Don’t count out Dobyns Extreme HP, the DX743c is a great rod for jigs also. I have both and tend to use the 853c more. Now for the best value IMO is an Expride! Light and sensitive and price point is great for the rod you get. Not as many choice in power/action, but the 7-2 or 7-6MH would work great also.
  4. As stated above, slight differences in most Shimano reels, but no issue with quality. Shipping is only issue as it does take a while.
  5. 4 of us have been going to fork from MN with our boats for last few years. We have gone mid or end of March and have found fish pre spawn and on beds both time frames. The weather temps play a big role there but you can find bedded bass from March to may some years. it’s a fun time a good lake to fish. I do recommend if boating on your own spend the few bucks for lance vicks boating lane chip. Will help you navigate around all those trees in that lake!
