373V Ranger- Looking for information or Manual

Featured Replies

I just purchased a 373V Ranger and know nothing about this model boat. Does anyone have a copy of a manual or any information about this boat? I especially need to know about the controls on the both consoles, as the sun has raded out the writing.

On the bow there is a switch that I believe says "Charge" and I need to know what it is for. I do not want to just start pulling wires and attempting the "process of elimination"  fact finding mission.

Thanks everyone for your help.

No real manuals were ever available.  Those that came with a boat were general type of stuff; safe boating, trailering, etc.   I'm afraid you'll have to start flipping switches and looking for or listening to whatever turns on.

That or another 370 series owner can post what the switch layout is.

i have a 370v. I was told the charge switch was for charging your trolling motor. I believe he said he he switched it to charge when he plugged the batteries in to a charging device. I do not use the switch at all. Good luck

That switch with Charge on it was the old 12v-Charge-24v switch they used back in the days of 12/24 volt TM's. It was sort of a redundant switch as most 12/24 volt TM's had switches on the foot pedals. Obviously, the 12 and 24 positions were for operation of the TM at those 2 different voltages, the Charge position disconnected the 2 batteries for the charging operation.

Just guessing, those bow electrical plates usually had a trim switch on them and an aerator switch.  There might also be a switch for the nav lights.

If there is manual available or you want an excellent place to ask this question it would be at iboat.com's forum.
