Hi Own this rod in the 2018 E6X flavor and i want to use it for Ned Rigs. 

 

Is it too much rod?

Rated 'Medium' power - down to 1/8oz lure...little more than I like for Neds, but should work fine.

I used to use a GLX 892s for Ned rigs and it worked great.

Thanks, what weight jig head did you use? did you have to go heavier than normal to load up the rod?

I think it was the 1/10 ounce. 

I've used my 842s SJR with 1/15 jig heads. It worked fine but I've since dedicated my Dobyns 692s to Ned rigs.
