Save Phace

Featured Replies

Not really tackle but I have to ask. Anyone use Save Phace masks? I really want one for winter time fishing. My buddy uses a full face motorcycle helmet. But I love the way these look. Are they any good? Opinions please.

Can I just ask why you want a helmet for fishing? Would a ski mask not be just as sufficient?

It's so you don't get knocked on your noggin when flying down the lake. I got my new Costa Del Mar sunglasses splattered with bugs yesterday. I also got hit with a bug in the lip and that actually stung a little bit.

a ski mask dont do crap for you when your blazing down the water @ 60 mph,it leaves to much exposed and in whinter its C-O-L-D i use a paintball mask when times call for it.

I have one for cold, rain, bugs when I'm going down the lake. It works pretty good. I like that you can swap out the lenses for different light conditions.

Save Phace masks are used for Airsoft masks also.  They look the same, but are made slightly different.  :o

It is strictly for long runs on the lake when it is really cold. I tried the neoprene half mask with a beenie and hood. NOPE not gonna cut it. I need a mask or helmet.

Anyone who has ever gone down a lake at 60+MPH for long periods of time in harsh conditions will appreciate one of these imo!

Got one and love it for those cold runs or when its raining. I've heard of some people having trouble with them fogging up, but I've never had any.

They make a huge difference.  Wish I hadn't sold mine.  Guess I'll be buying another before winter.

I have 2 in my boat, anyone who did not have one before they used my spare purchased one shortly thereafter. It is a great product.

All it takes is getting hit in the face by a Junebug at 50 MPH+, or a long run in the rain. You won't ask why someone needs a helmet.

Falcon

I was gonna do a search on here since I bought 2 of these the other day but it looks like this thread cleared any doubt I might have had. I got the white skull one as well as the storm trooper one. Im gonna be doin alot of winter fishing since my house at lake anna is on the "warm" side of the lake, perhaps the best winter bass fishing on the east coast. These will come in handy when Im flying 60-70 mph in 30 degree weather.

I have a Save Phace for rain, but for cold weather runs I use a full face motorcycle helmet.

WIND BURN  also what others said Great Product..

I find my face not burnt up by the wind. It makes me feel more refreshed at end of day and tournaments.  I am  a Non Boater and usually get full wind . If it is cold a hooded  or putting Save phase over hood on rain gear help to retain heat when it is nasty.

I have 2 Save Phace mask, one for my guest.  They are must especially for long runs, cold weather, and most importantly RAIN.  I got two American Flag themed ones on Ebay for $100.

I have seen people using motorcycle helmets, but they seem bulky and stink up if you leave them in your boat lockers after getting wet, know that one from experience  :o
