I was out fishing for channel fish at local creek( back waters of cedar river ). Theres a little house dock. I am about to cast with catfish dipstick worm and the hook caught back on my tshirt and the line snapped. The tip of the rod smacks back of my head. It was funny though.

for fishing crappies, i usually crappie tubes with jig on it, jig it through rocks and such and, you'll get the crappies hooked on. I also apply Berkley powerbait for crappies waxies, they are pink color. Good luck.

I went out fishing on Friday late afternoon around 5 p.m. I went out to the baitshop to get Berkley Powerbait Original Power Worm 10". I got Purple colored worm for bass. I also got Catfish Stink Bait. I left the baitshop and went to pick my friend up. Went to my cousins cabin. We got fairly large dock. I get my worm and hook and connect it. Cast it and let it sit so I can get my catfish pole and dipped it the stinkbait cast it other side. I start to reel my pole. I got huge bite with in 5 minutes. I had ten minute fight with the fish. It was jumping in the air. I have no clue it was. So my friend took a picture for me so I can post it here.

Those things are cool. It would be great for protection!

Hi Bass Resource, I am Dillon Sears. I am 18 years old. I lreside in Muscatine, Iowa. I used to fish on and off with my grandpa when I was a little kid at Lake of The Ozarks on his fishing boat. He lives here in Iowa. Some how, when I got in school being freshman and people got me into fishing. Im hooked. I like to catch Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Catfish and sometimes Walleye or Pike. I am also deaf but I have cochlear implant but fishing doesnt stop me. I love fishing. That fish is called Longnose Gar. I've caught them before backwaters of Cedar River here in Muscatine, Iowa. They're pretty creepy. Let me tell you that. lol. Dillon
