How are Storm Arashi Rattling Square 05 lures?

Featured Replies

I stopped by Field and Stream/Dicks today and see they were clearance these out for 4.50. I got one in a red craw color. Seems like high quality lure. They also had the 03 and 07 ones too in many colors. A whole bin of them. If anyone here uses them let me know if they are good I will go get some more. Seems to be over 10 dollars online if I knew that I would have grabbed another one but I had no idea what they normally go for.

I use the Arashi 5 squarebill,  I have them in rattling and silent, they are awsome. They run straight, the stock hooks are very good and they catch fish.

They were discontinued recently - estimating a year or so ago.  You will find them either really inexpensive on clearance, or very expensive because fans will be looking to get them before they are all gone.  Ollie's bargain outlet was selling boxloads of them for $4 or $5 last summer.

With their popularity I have to wonder if they will just come back re-branded?

Trend seems to be toward circuit board lips so its hard to believe they will be changing the lips on them.

I might try and go back and get a few more. Maybe a 7 and 3 feet one and another 5 in another color. We getting crazy ice storm tonight so might not get there till Wednesday. Hope they have them left but I dont worry too much they had like 100 of them.

bought a handful of them at fleetfarm for $1.75 each for the 5 and 7s.

I got some 3 and 5 footers, both rattling and silent. Good action, and seem durable. Don't catch many fish, though. I'm not enthused.  ?            jj

Went back today and got a silent 5, rattle 3 and 7 and also a nice looking arashi spinbait. 20 bucks for all 4 is not bad.
