Will it work to fish a Bluegill Jig with a white jig trailer?

Featured Replies

Also what other color jig trailers work well with a bluegill color jig?

Sure why not? I haven’t seen any bass fashion police, and just like your other thread about a black blue jig with a white swim bait, I think it’ll work in any clarity of water.

A lot of anglers like to match the trailer to the jig and some do not. There’s no hard and fast rules. If you feel that the combination of colors you are using are going get you the strike then fish it and fish it with conviction.

If it doesn’t work...well that’s fishing for that day. Doesn’t mean it won’t work another day.

Good luck. ?

Thank you!

Yep!

Generally a black and blue or junebug, a green pumpkin or watermelon and a white/shad color will cover your basics.  You can expand based on the results of those three.

Also, you can make a white plastic any color you want... Just color it with a marker!
