For Kayak fishing you will want to keep an eye on the wind forecast to decide where to launch. Monterey Park is a great protected launch with close access to the Canyons which is always a good area this time of year. You can also launch at San Augustine and have a lot of good grass nearby. The grass bite is good right now on a lipless crankbait, chatterbaits, and senko. Good luck
