BPS Prowler TM

I did a quick search and didn't find much about these. I am looking into getting the 45 lb transom mount for a small jon boat. Any one have any experience with these positive or negative? How does this compare to a minn kota endura?  From what I understand it is basically a motorguide motor.I have used 2 other motorguides and they were loud as hell.

Thanks for any replies ;)

i have a 40lb. thrust prowler. and i dont know of anything else like endura or motorguides though i heard mine was a motorguide. i dont think mines loud far as running wise just rattles loud. but i want to say that its my boat it self. i might have to do some reinforcing. i enjoy mine alot but of course its my first motor too.

If its your Trolling motor vibration thats causing the noise you may want ot try this:   From Bluewater LED

IN STOCK!!

"MVD" stands for Motor Vibration Dampener! This revolutionary product was designed to reduce the vibration which in turn causes noise in the water as you use your trolling motor.

Note: Package comes with one dampener.

Vibration is measured with an Accelerometer. Without the MVD your average Trolling motor puts out 262Hz/G's of sounds, but with the MVD it is reduced/dampened to 228Hz/G's. That makes a huge difference when you are trying to sneak up on them!

For an even quieter motor put multiple MVD's on it!

I have the 45 pound thrust for my 9 ft pond prowler and it does great.

I have had it for 2 years now and no problems with it at all.
