Hey there everyone!! Was wondering your thoughts on the shimano caius baitcasting combo and if it’s a decent beginners combo? I’m getting a new combo for my little brother it’s his first, I know there’s other great ones out there but this the only one that’s not sold out in my town and I’m getting it for this weekend so there’s no time to order one! Thanks in advance for the reviews and advice ??

I'm not a fan of premade combos. It almost always seems like one piece of the combo (usually the rod), is of pretty low quality. I don't have any direct experience with this combo, but usually you can pick up a rod and reel for just a little more that is much better quality.
