Earlier in this thread I mentioned how some of my Penn Senators are older than myself and still work great. These reels where made in the USA which explains why they where made so well. Hopefully Fishing tackle companies start making more reels again in the USA since the quality is much better here. 

Shocked no one has mentioned Reaction Innovations, completely changed the game with the Sweet Beaver. I always see "retired"  items from them going for $70-$100+ each. The Vixen for example.

 

Not saying I would pay that, just observations
