SE FL Bank Locations

Featured Replies

I am new to the area. I have all the licensing and permits needed to catch nearly anything I want. However. I do not have a boat, and I have no idea where to go to legally bank fish. I have been to the Everglades, alligator alley mile marker boat launch locations, and a few local parks in broward county. I am not receiving much luck. I catch oscars and gar at the Everglades but I am looking for bass and snakeheads.

if anyone could provide locations for bass and snakeheads anywhere with great bank fishing in Dade, Broward or Palm Beach please let me know. I want someplace that’s legal to fish. Where I can spend a good amount

of time. And that I can park reasonably close where I’m not walking a mile with all my gear.

please help! Any information and guidance is appreciated. I’m also more than willing to meet up and fish with any of you and learn from The locals.

my main goal is really finding good snakehead to eat!

thanks in advanced.

matt.

Check out the snakehead thread in 'Other Fish Species' subforum. There is so much information on this forum and online. As a general hint, look for public parks and walking paths for legal fishing spots

Hey bostonsox, that team has been a surprise so far this season, huh?

I fish the banks of Broward County 5 days a week and hit the glades in the boat at least once a week.  For snakeheads Plantation and Sunrise seems to be snakehead central.  They love a frog close to the bank and moved quickly.  I have caught a bunch this way.  Bass almost any body of water have an amble supply.  Look for areas with current like culvert pipes.  Plenty of places to fish!

After their first winning streak I went and bought MLB Gameday Audio. Surprise for sure!
