We have had relentless cold fronts. Water temps have dropped to below average for this time of the year. Shouldn't be enough to cause a fish kill though. I never see fish cruising the bank like I do up north so I cant' explain that. Are you from MA ? Totally different game down here.
I went out with the kayak in the morning not expecting anything. Wind was howling to make matters worse. Ended up with 10 bass of no size and lost a few. Was surprised to catch anything. 🐟
Should be getting close. Get out as much as you can. Look for surface activity. Good to always have a fluke tied on. Once that water temp gets lower a rattle bait can be quite productive. Wish I was up there.
