Tested out my patched waders

Featured Replies

Put the waders on yesterday first time since i patched them of a small leak. I stuck a big spinner on a tree limb submerged with the trailer hook from the bank, wont use trailer hook in wood areas again. Waded out to get lure and was really interested in feeling if my leak was fixed but just minutes into the walk out to the lure in stepped into some soggy ground and sank to my shoulders.

As the cool water was filling into my waders i was able to get the lure but will have to wait another day to test for leak. There was no water to dump out as i took waders off because my pants, socks, underwear and shirt absorbed it all nicely. I carry spare clothes in the car for these ocasions but i air dried quite quickley with the wind being a big help.
